argh i give up. i put a big picture post...twice. and then somehow deleted everything. im not good with laptops thats for sure. I am using my flatmate's emma's at the moment. I am flu-ish. I have started to feel a lot better the past week, and guess my body finally started to relax thats why I got sick. Seriously I rather be physically sick than mentally.
so i might try and post some pix later or from work. i know you all love picture posts:-)
So for now, just a quick mail update. I sent mail out (or will send tomorrow) to...susie, raquel, claire, carmen, linda, anne, courtney, seung wha and i need to reply to almost everyone else. yikes. |

yesterday me and my dutch mates went to DE EFTELING. Hollands most famous theme parc. Lots of fun! And we went on all the rides, i love rollercoasters! You can find some piccies on my flickr.
Afterwards we went for dinner in Den Bosch. I ate yummie fish with spinach. Unfortunately I forgot to make any pictures. oh well.
Today I am flying back to Dublin. And tonight Í'll be meeting up with Hanneke, who's back from Vienna. yay!

I have sent out about 10 parcels and letters yesterday and yay, I am nearly caught up on mail...at the moment i only have to reply to a couple of pals..2 or 3 only. It's amazing, I havent been updated like this in eons!!!

I am so gonna buy myself a digital camera. I think my LJ would be much more interesting if I could post some pix
yesterday me and gary watched ' walk the line'. Which wasn't bad....but not as good as everyone thought it was.
I HAVE to make an appointment for the hairdresser, honestly you should see my hair. it's a right mess. I am so not looking forward to sitting there for FOUR hours on my free saturday though! i need to get my roots done, and i want highlights. and a proper cut and blowdry.

Yesterday I was in the mood to cook something different. Going through my kitchen cupboard I came across lots of special, exotic food that I usually tend to buy *because it looks so interesting* but never actually cook because I haven’t got a clue how to.
I opted for an indonesian sauce mix which I brought back from holland during christmas. The words ‘spicy’ on the packaging got Gary really excited as he loves his food hotter than hot. He got SO excited he even decided he wanted to help me cook the meal. He measured 500 ml of water PLUS he cut the mushrooms. I have to say: I was impressed! (for a guy that can barely fry an egg!)
The end result wasn’t as impressing though. The sauce was too watery, the rice too wet and it was far from spicy. It was MILD! But well…at leats it filled our tummies right up. (okay we had a yoghurt AND an icecream for desert, which were definitely the highlight of the meal)

As you all know I am not the most active updater on Livejournal. Often I feel like writing something, but if I would do that it means I do not want to repeat myself in letters I write to my penpals and I am sure my letters will become awfully short!!! But on the other hand, I have been reading back some of my old updates and it is so funny to see what I have done or what happened in my life at an earlier stage!!!! A livejournal is not just for others but mostly for yourself…So from now on I think I will write a bit more about my super interesting life (*ahem*), and I think I WILL just repeat myself in letters, as I have been thinking: I do read all my pals journals, and it never bothers me if they write it also in their letter to me as you always end up writing it slightly different or in different words altogether.
So what do you (my penpals) think? Would you get terribly upset to read my adventures twice?;-)

Since </a></font></strong></a>hannakj has quit swapping, and she has asked not to return full slams to her anymore, i've decided to make all the slams i come across that are made for her (and those are a lot since she used to join many labelbags) for other people. I suggest you all do the same, otherwise it would be a waste of good slams.
If the slam is made by someone , it makes sense to return the full slam to the maker
